I'm going to release an "EP" with the following tracks:
1. Insect Boy
2. Broken World
3. Keep It Together
4. You Can't Hide From The Sky
I'm going to call it the "Insect Boy EP." I'm doing this because my music is moving in a different direction and these songs don't fit in with the new sound I'm developing. I've been fighting with myself over the direction of my music for too long and have finally decided to cut these tracks loose for good. I've remixed and remasterd them and I'm FINALLY satisfied with the sound. I'll be making mp3, wavs and artwork so you can make a DIY CD if you want it. It'll all be released under a Creative Commons license.

I remixed and remastered "Insect Boy" and I think I finally got a sound I can live with. Maybe most people won't be able to tell the difference between the new version and the old one but it sounds better to me. I'll do the rest of the songs soon.
In other news, I have a couple new songs in the works. Also I'm planning on doing a semi-live performance of some of my tunes as a video podcast.

I’m pretty frustrated with my music right now. I think it all sounds like shit. The mixes sound like mush, the masters sound amateurish. Every time I hear them on a podcast they sound terrible. I don’t know what to do now. I don’t know if I should bother anymore.

Apparently, I was nominated in the "Hardcore" category for best song or something like that. I would like to thank whoever it was that nominated me. I was very surprised. I doubt I'll win but to be honest, I'm simply happy anyone even thought to nominate me!

I just finished up the first of what (hopefully) will be a new Shadowjack album. It's a slow process. I can average about a song a week if I really push myself and not do much else. I don't know how Cat (of
magicinkwell.com) manages to churn out so much high quality stuff. He's recorded what, a 10 albums in the last two years or so? How does he do it? I've been curious about what software and hardware he has. And where the heck he finds the time!
Anyway, I've recorded two other songs this year so I'll probably add those to the album. If you're interested you can hear the songs "You Can't Hide from the Sky" and "Keep It Together"
here.

Check out my interview with Jon on show #15 of his Industrial Radio podcast. We bullshit and he plays some of my tunes. I almost sound intelligent.

Thanks to Jon at Industrial Radio for playing "It's Called Easy" again on his podcast
http://jmtech.com/industrialradio/ this week! It sounded much better this time! Also a thanks goes out to ladyorion for featuring "Keep It Together" on her podcast

I think I'll be remixing and mastering all the tracks on my page, except "Worth" and "Elation." The original multi-track files for "Worth" are long gone. I thought I had "Elation" backed up somewhere but I can't find it. I'll search around on my CD-R's some more.
